広島県立竹原高校野球部監督<br />\r\n
1939年、広島県出身。広島商高の主将として57年夏の甲子園優勝。66年に同校のコーチ、67年に監督就任。73年春の甲子園で江川卓擁する作新学院高を下し準優勝、夏には優勝を果たした。93年から如水館高の前身である三原工業高の監督に。如水館高を甲子園春夏通算8回出場に導き、2011年には8強進出。2019年3月に同校監督を退任ののち、同年7月、80歳で竹原高監督に就任。部員11人からスタートし、22年にはチーム35年ぶりに夏の県大会ベスト16入り。野球の理解度や人間形成を大事にしながら、令和の時代に合ったコミュニケーション法を取り入れて、日々創意工夫、25年計画でチームづくりを進めている。YouTube『迫田監督野球チャンネル』が人気。<br />\r\n

中国放送アナウンサー<br />\r\n
1975年、兵庫県出身。カープ戦通算600試合を中心にスポーツ実況を担当。迫田穆成監督の人生を追いかけたラジオ番組『生涯野球監督 迫田穆成～終わりなき情熱～』では、取材・構成・ナレーションを担当し、第77回文化庁芸術祭賞大賞に輝いた。2020年度JNN・JRNアノンシスト賞テレビスポーツ中継部門最優秀賞、ラジオスポーツ中継部門では3度の優秀賞(04年・06年・19年)に輝く。主な著書に2015年度第5回広島本大賞を受賞した『優勝請負人』(本分社)、『「育てて勝つ」はカープの流儀』(カンゼン)、『惚れる力』(サンフィールド)、『朱に交われば朱くなる』(秀和システム)など。広島県ホッケー協会理事・ちゅうごく5県プロスポーツネットワーク・コーディネーターを務める。ファイナンシャルプランナー(AFP)としても活躍中。</li>\r\n
